I built it with my best friend because we were tired of spending too much on school books. In the first year, through friends and people we knew, about 30,000 books were sold.
Libriciclo.it is a simple marketplace where students and families exchange books in person, for middle school and high school. Textbooks are expensive in Italy, and every class uses a different set, so we use a database from the Ministry of Education with the book list for every class to make buying and selling as smooth as possible.
Story
We worked on it like a startup for a while, then decided to keep it social and useful instead of turning it into something colder.
